STAR Cryoelectronics

STAR Cryoelectronics, founded in 1999, is a worldwide leading supplier of advanced LTS and HTS dc SQUID sensors, mating cryocables and PC-based SQUID readout electronics, and TES microcalorimeter and STJ X-ray detectors. STAR Cryoelectronics also offers extensive custom LTS and HTS thin-film design and foundry services for a wide range of superconducting electronics applications, and is the sole producer of the popular Mr. SQUID® Educational Demonstration System in use at many colleges and universities worldwide. In addition, STAR Cryoelectronics now offers turn-key, cryogen-free ADR cryostats with cooling to 50 mK for basic research, as well as TES microcalorimeter spectrometers for X-ray microanalysis and STJ X-ray absorption spectrometers for synchrotron science applications.
