New England Wire Technologies manufactures the most technologically advanced wire and cable in the industry specializing in custom Litz, braids, cables & strands, ultra flexible single, multiconductor, coaxial and miniature cables. We design, develop, test & manufacture specialty products to exacting specifications ranging in size from 46 AWG to 3.5” in diameter for the medical, automotive, communications, computer, industrial electronics, robotics, and high-energy physics industries.

New England Wire Technologies has been providing cabling and insulating services to the superconducting industry since the 1960’s. Our customers include many of the U.S. National Laboratories, European Magnet Manufacturers and US Commercial Magnet Manufacturers with products in most of the major accelerator projects, ore separator magnets, NMR magnets and superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) magnets. In addition to our experience with both the low and high temperature conductors, New England Wire is also a worldwide leader in Rutherford cabling of superconducting wire. We have the ability to apply polyimide tape, fiberglass tape, fiberglass textile braids, extruded ETFE insulations, Siltem® and engineered materials to all conductor configurations.
