Deadline Extended for Nominations

Awards for Technical Careers and Service

The deadline to submit a nomination for Council on Superconductivity Special Awards is being extended until 31 March 2018. Nominations will be accepted for the IEEE Award for Continuing and Significant Contributions in the Field of Applied Superconductivity.  The award is given to recognize a career of meritorious achievements and outstanding technical contributions by a living individual in the field of applied superconductivity.

Researchers with 20 or more years of continuing and significant contributions in applied superconductivity are eligible for special awards in Electronics, Large Scale, and the Wong Award in Materials.

Nominations are also being sought for the IEEE Max Swerdlow Award for Sustained Service to the Applied Superconductivity Community.

Rosner Entrepreneur Award

Nominations are also being sought for the Carl Rosner Award to a young entrepreneur in applied superconductivity.

The final deadline for nominations is 31 March 2018.
